Head of Finance

Our Amsterdam team is looking for a financial specialist who will go above and beyond to lead our finance team and make a global impact. This is where you come in!

As our new Head of Finance, your job is to financially shape international expansion, validate growth models, and secure financial resources to execute and speed up our plan. You lead all financial initiatives that drive strategic and operational decision-making. Working closely with all team leads, you are shaping the company's future in a broad financial role. As Head of Finance, you:

• take responsibility for all financial results, forecasting, and key metrics (e.g. sales, revenue growth, retention). Identify trends and initiate decisions based on your input;

• are responsible for reporting structures, monitoring financial and operational KPIs and updating the leadership team on the progress of strategic priorities and the realization of our growth objectives;

• build models and business cases to support strategic decisions for the company (e.g. new pricing models or business models for international expansion);
  

• lead the accounting team, oversee the monthly financial results and initiate automation efforts where possible;
  

• lead finance-related stakeholder relationships. This includes investors and banks;
  

• optimize the financing mix (equity, debt and subsidies) and assist in or lead fundraising activities;
  

• are responsible for contract management and quality management.

You....

• have 4-7 years of working experience in finance and are ready to take the next step to lead and scale the complete finance function of a scale-up;

• have strong numerical capabilities and well-developed communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. You can build and explain storylines of numeric models to all stakeholders;

• offer a proven track record of being organized and a problem solver, pay close attention to details, and are both quality and deadline focused;

• are energetic, self-sufficient, and confident to take on fast-changing conditions, take the finance function to the next level and have the ambition to develop towards the role of CFO;

• have well-developed Excel and Exact skills and are knowledgeable about Microsoft PowerBI;

• have fluent proficiency in Dutch and English;
